Service Description

"Being an author starts long before we learn to hold a pencil." Before a child is able to write competently it is important that he/she develops strong pre writing skills. Pre writing skills are essential for the child to be able to develop the ability to hold and move a pencil fluently and effectively and therefore produce legible writing. They also enable a child to draw, copy and colour. We offer a fun and varied sessions run in the comfort of your own home or as small group classes. The sessions are suited for 1-6 year-olds and 1-1 sessions will be tailored to your child’s individual needs. The sessions consist of short physical activities which build fine (hand and finger strength) and gross motor (upper body strength) muscles. Additionally, they will help to develop an awareness of pencil grasp, hand eye coordination, hand dominance, and visual perception. The activities involved include dough disco, dancing, messy and sensory play, cutting, construction, drawing, threading and more!

Cancellation Policy

https://www.dcleyservices.com/refunds-cancellations If a service needs to be cancelled by the client, the client must make suitable arrangements with the staff member at their earliest convenience. We will make every effort to re-arrange the service, but we are not obliged to do this if it is not possible. If a service is cancelled for illness or any other reason there will be no charge if we are given 6 hours’ notice. Half of the fee will be charged if you give less than 6 hours’ notice. The full fee will be charged if you give less than 4 hours notice. Please inform us with 2 weeks’ notice of a pre booked holiday. You will be required to pay half of the fee for any services booked if you fail to provide 2 weeks’ notice.
